Mark your calendars! Oasis of Support and Healing is excited to announce our upcoming Community Health Fair, scheduled for July 25, 2025. Under the theme "Growing a Healthy Community Together," this event promises a day of health, wellness, and fun for the entire family. We are proud to partner with Councilor Tanyalee Williams to bring this vital event to the community. The fair will take place at Treadlight Primary School in May Pen, Clarendon, starting at 10 AM. This event is designed to be both educational and entertaining. We will have a variety of fun activities to engage all ages, including spirited football and netball competitions, as well as a lively domino tournament for those who enjoy a good game. It’s a perfect opportunity for community members to connect, have fun, and learn about staying healthy. There will be bounce-a-bouts for the kids and informational sessions for adults on topics like nutrition and mental health first aid. In our commitment to accessible healthcare, the Ministry of Health and Wellness will be on-site to provide free health screenings, including blood pressure checks, cholesterol tests, and more. We are also thrilled to host representatives from several key agencies. PATH (Programme of Advancement Through Health and Education), the National Housing Trust (NHT), JN+, the Registrar General's Department (RGD), and the HEART/NSTA Trust will all have booths to provide valuable information and services. This is a unique opportunity to get your health checked, ask questions, and learn about the resources available to you. Join us as we work together to build a healthier, stronger community.
