Our Story
Oasis of Support and Healing (O’SAH) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 2020 by six passionate social work students: Latoya Smith, Paula Smith, Dayna Dunn, Shemica Henry, Kedesha Meridith, and Kayon Ming.
The organization originated from a WhatsApp group called "Vent When Bent," created as a safe space for individuals to express their feelings without judgment. Through this platform, issues of abuse against females emerged, prompting the founders to take action.

Our Organization is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals who have experienced abuse. Through education, counselling and advocacy we strive to empower our clients to heal from their trauma and build a brighter future for themselves and their families.
