OSAH's Successful 2024 Back-to-School Drive: 50 Students Supported!

The summer of 2024 marked a significant milestone for Oasis of Support and Healing as we successfully concluded our annual Back-to-School Drive. We were absolutely thrilled to support approximately 50 students, ranging from basic school all the way to the university level, ensuring they were well-prepared for the new academic year. This initiative is a cornerstone of our commitment to education and our belief that every child deserves the tools they need to succeed in their educational journey. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity and support from our community members, local businesses, and dedicated partners, we were able to provide essential school supplies to each student. Every student received a backpack filled with notebooks, pens, pencils, rulers, and other vital items tailored to their grade level. For the older students, we included scientific calculators and study aids to assist with their more advanced coursework. We also provided vouchers to help families cover the cost of uniforms and textbooks, easing the financial strain that the back-to-school season can often bring. The smiles on the faces of the students and the gratitude from their parents were truly heartwarming and reaffirmed the importance of this annual event. One parent shared, "I didn't know how I was going to manage this year. The help from OSAH was a true blessing for my family." We believe that by investing in our students, we are investing in the future of our community, fostering a generation of educated and empowered individuals. We are immensely proud of what we have accomplished together and plan to continue this tradition each year, with the goal of expanding our reach to help even more students in the future.
